GL110 engine probloms

    I have a GL1100 it sounds great and rides well, but after about 50
    miles or so I can hear a clicking sound comming from the engine which
    graduly gets louder, if I stop the engine and restart it the clicking
    sound stops. can any one out there give me some idea as to what the
    problom might be. thanks
