Take enough weight out of the back of a mini, put some good grippy tyres on the front, and that's what happens.
Not necc. 1340 or so would do, but it might have one of the revvier Cooper lumps. Definitely mistaken - FWD, the limited slip diff would enable the spin turns around the cones - that and a bit of very skilful handbrakery. Stripped-out shell - looked like a modded shell that may even be fibreglass - beam axles with coilovers are de rigeur for competition work, which locate the rear much better and lose a lot of weight over the standard suspension and subframe.
