Gixxer 6s

Just been offered one of these (K1, 2001, Y reg with just over 4.5K on the
clocks) for £4000 inc 3 month warrantee.

What I'm wondering is:

1) What's the difference between a K1,K2 and K3. Are all 2001 models K1s?

2) Is this a good deal? It seems in pretty good nick but has had the right
hand side lower bit of fairing repaired. Apparently it was a small drop
which left only cosmetic damage. The repair hasn't been done perfectly but
without looking closely its fine.

 

K1 - first of the 'new' shape.
K2 - minor cosmetic changes including a stainless exhaust pipe and different
colour schemes and apparently the removal of the two stage fuel warning
light.
K3 - different colour schemes.

So they're pretty much identicial really.

 

Not a fat lot. Colour schemes and minor tweaks. It was anew model in
2001 and there is a new one for 2004. 2001 is K1, 2002 K2 etc.

Don't bother. There are loads around that will be perfect for that
money.

 

500 quid too much.
