    Depends on where your opinion lies I guess, but maybe some of you may want
    to rattle our wonderful government's cage with regard to the proposed
    application of VAT to helmets.

    The link below makes it dead easy, with form letter and MP / MEP finder and
    mail links at the bottom.

    Please understand that I have no political axe to grind here but think that
    this is the thin end of yet another wedge that could inappropriately affect
    users of this newsgroup and all bikers old and new.

    Pointless exercise.

    They're treaty-bound to do it. Also VAT on childrens clothes, houses
    (not just repairs) and books, to name but a few. From 2005.
