I see in the newspaper that Marianne Faithfull, star of
'Girl on a Motorcycle', has had a heart attack.

I though you had to eat the Mars Bars to get raised cholesterol.

 

What a pity, such imaginative use of leather, too.
Co-directed by Ronan O'Rahilly who founded Radio Caroline, purveyors of
quality music, incidentally.

Well of course it wasn't an American Mars bar, it was a proper British
Mars Bar.

Now if Snopes had said it wasn't a(n American) Milky Way then we would
have known it wasn't a mars bar.

 

She never actually rode one centimetre, on any bike in that film.

She was on a trailer during all filming.

My mate Roger was one of the constables who raided the party. They quickly
sent in some female PC's after what they saw happening...

Attending the trial in Chichester was interesting too as I helped the ITV
newsteam by tipping them off about the back door or the courthouse.

Obviously I'm much older than TOG...
