Gilera Nexus 500 'Sports scooter.

  1. Ok - so I already know some of you guys/gals are gonna yawn when you see the word scooter, BUT there
are some fans of big-ish 'sports' scooters amongst you

It's just to let any Gilera Nexus 500 fans know that I've just updated the Gilera Nexus 500
website with the road test review by 'Sticky' (of 'Twist & Go' and 'Scootering' magazines).

    It's at http://www.Gilera-Nexus.co.uk

Time goes slower on a scooter, even a "sports" one.

I imagine (I know) the CBR600 would eat the scoot at those sort of speeds. It was just to illustrate
that the Nexus 500 scoot ain't *slow*.

I often see a (mature) kid on a scoot in the traffic in Bristol, with *L* plates on his scoot,
leaving big bikes for dead at the traffic lights sprint. Gawd knows what he's done to the engine. I
suspect he's a *proper* motorcyclist on his second mount, just *playing* with the others. He has a
dark visor so I've no idea how old he is. Pehaps the L plates are his idea of a joke to lure the
others into his trap. I guess he smiles a lot under his dark visor :~)
Likewise, I believe the CBR600 has embarrassingly good brakes :~)
