Getting re-acquainted with ukrm

As some might have noticed, I've been back on-line for the last couple of
weeks and even de-lurked a few times as the mood takes me, while I try
reading through the usual mix of dross, abuse and minor gems that is ukrm.

From my last immersion in this pool of (occasionally motorcycle related)
background noise, some 3-4 years ago[1], I pick-out the usual suspects (TOG,
Salad Dodger, Bear) and many of the usual types (you know who you are).

Just answer me one question. WTF is "Sir. Tony"? When he's not on a
pointless fishing expedition he's just out to "poke the tiger".

Anyway, it's good to be back, even if it's taken a while to get comfortable
    again.

[1] used to post as if anyone's interested enough to
    Google groups.

  2. Methinks you are make some mistake - precious few gems.

    Bloody newbies.
    That's about right - a collective effort I feel.

    **** off now then.

Oooaaarr Sir, back welcome you be.
He's a sort of CWO on steroids. And possibly those little minty things
that make your tongue curl up as well.

No idea. It troubles me somewhat, but think its a huge wind up.

Ho no. CWO, was MUCH better at *it*. For a given value of it of course.

  9. He's probably the most successful troll we've ever had. The sheer
absurdity of his oracular pronouncements often make me giggle. There's
OT, seriously OT, and there's Sir Tony.

I think he's a ukrm regular, or at least one of his morphs is.

Accepted wisdom seems to be that he was a troll when he first
appeared, but most incarnations now are frogs. Personally, I suspect
the chap with the Pan Euro - you know, the one who claims to have
    "boyish good looks".

  12. It may have done in the past - but not on this occasion...I suspect
Pip. He enjoys the humour of SirT too much IMHO.

Personally, I've become extremely wary of the ginger geordie git since
I found out that he doesn't like marmite. You have to ask yourself:
what kind of man is this?

The current Sir.Tony has the same IP address as the one posting to the
Michael Jackson group - surely that can't be anyone but the 'real
    thing'?

I s'pose it could still be an elaborate wind-up. We'll just have to
wait 'til he's build his steam-powered bike to find out. I doubt
there'll be many people riding around London towing a bloody great
    water tanker behind them.

Talking of which, what is it with the Scottish team on Scrapheap
Challenge Scrappy Races? Are they deliberatly trying to come up with
the shitiest designs imaginable every week? Maybe the bloke in the team
    is Sir.Tony.
