Getting lazy?

  1. First we had the cycle, balancing on two wheels
then we had the unicycle balancing on one wheel
except it was very hard to manage
Then we had the SAGEM, the scooter with two wheels side by side,
    Now we have this.

One of their selling features pointed out in the video is that both
hands are free to carry things while you're moving, presumably that
indicates they'll be marketing these to Harley riders and Collingwood
    supporters..

Interesting device, it would be good for helping elderly or people with
    difficulty walking to get around.

Hatz will claim they copied the idea from the Chinese and ducati have
one that will do a 1/10sec quicker lap time

People who have mobility issues are not going to be able to get around on
that thing as it's an ergonomic disaster. If you pay attention the two
models are doing quite a bit to ensure that the thing stays level too.

Still, I guess it has potential.

In the evolution of sit-on devices you left out the Sybian. Still, the
subjects in the video clip appeared to be just as pleased with their
U3-X. For marketing purposes I think Sybian rolls off the tongue more
    easily.

Great technology, fairly novel and practically useless :)

Id still rather have a Segway XT2 offroad version.

It may not be easy to use in its current form but the idea is good and
it shouldn't be difficult to make it more user friendly.
Compared to a mobility scooter its tiny so it could be easily
transported in a car which is difficult with the current devices.

Yeah, give him a Dvorak keyboard. He might start making some sense.
