Getting better at this biking lark (was CampinGazz)

First off, this is the new name for that anoying git CampinGazz you've all
grew to hate over the last month or so,
Chose this name as it's a bit biker friendly than campingazz.. maybe.

Now i just have to grow a straggely beard, stop washing, and pretend the
    virago is a harley.

Anyhoo, been trying the tips given to me re: the pillion thing, riding a lot
more smoothly now, only clashed helmets about 10 times over the 130 miles we
    rode today,
First time that was about 500 times we clashed lids, so something is getting
    better.

Sam's taking on board what was said about being a pillion, head over my
shoulders when riding along.. she was staring into the back of my lid
    before!!
stick her head over my shoulder when we turn, and don't try to lean for me,
    we're getting better.

She's even got the confidence to take her hand off my waist to wave at the
bikers coming towards us now, tho she's now started giving the finger to
every forward facing speed camera we go past, not sure if that's a good
    thing or not.

Serviced the virago this afternoon, rear spark plug had a closed up gap,
looks like it got knocked when it was put in.. prolly 3k miles ago,
properly gapped plugs have cured the occasional popping i was getting when
    decelerating.

Need to sync the carbs next as i doubt they've ever been done, bit lumpy on
idle, typical a year ago i sold all my petrol enginge tuning gear as i havea
    diesel van..
had a good carb syncronizer, gas tester, couple of colour tunes, timing
light, compression guage, vacuum guage etc, now i'll have to buy most of em
again.. getting expensive this biking game.

And i havent even bought my first tacky chrome fender ornament, or teardrop
chrome mirrors with flames on the back, or the tassles for the handle bars
    yet.

Anyone know of any good/cheap-ish custom type bike shops? i know of one in
sheffield, going there tommorow as i'm going to get the bits to build a
    trailer from sheffield.
but i'd like a few catalouges to look through and see how gay i can make
this virago look before common sense kicks in.

Really? I think that sort of information is absolutely thrilling.

If anyone's interested I've got ten years of fuel consumption data for a
range of vehicles. I could offer it under pay-per-view.

Hairy Arse is more 'biker friendly'. You fucking cliched ****.

You sound ideally suited. I'm really glad that you got together; for
the good of humanity in general, natch.

And the Camping name did rather go with the Virago... oops there's another
    stereotype.
