  1. Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique, Champ
IIRC, Austin is actually a mere sprog.

Thus spake Roger Hunt () unto the assembled multitudes:
Which is why we automatically throttle ports in our student residences that
persistently gobble large chunks of bandwidth. The offenders suddenly
find that their port's speed has dropped wayyyyy dowwwwn lowwwww.

I was at Helpdesk once at one small local college, having a natter, and
she showed me that she could view exactly what any student was viewing,
and if it was dodgy she could tap out a cruel little message which would
display on the screen of the malefactor, before pulling the plug on him.
    She loved her job!

I have a hazy memory of a tangle of orifices then the fog comes down, as

Oh come on boys, use your initiative.
I understood that there are something like 400,000,000 porn sites out
there, so surely there must be something to tickle your fancy.

  16. I forget the exact figure -- hang on while I check if it was on El
Reg...; no don't see it there -- but sometime in the last 24 hours or so I
saw a claim that 10%(?) of web-sites were porn. Bogglingly large, but it
didn't make much of an impression since I've never felt the need to search
it out -- I bought Playboy for 15 years or more, but I only read it for
the fiction (i.e. mainly the centrefolds...).

The trouble is that 99.9999% of them are just sordid, allegedly, and who
can be bothered? Anyway, it takes away the pleasure of leafing through
the pages and having a copy in the bog.
I remember Club International, which was Class girlie mag. Really good-
looking girls in the best possible er, taste.

  18. SOME people keep the National Geographic in the bog. Mind you, it's short
on the photos of scantily-clad native ladies in forn parts these days.

I bought my first SOBMW when I was 22 or 23; so I was running an R80ST
and a 250LC at the same time.

Thinking back though, at the time it was probably a SYBMW.
