  2. Then you'll throw a hissy fit when I point out that you know ****-all about
the country in which you're living, and for which you've requested
    citizenship.

In France, it is unlawful for anyone to send a commercial e-mail without
first having obtained the permission of the recipient (Article 22 of the
Law 21 June 2004, and Article L.34-5 of the Code of Postes et
Télécommunications, as well as Article L.121-20-5 of the Code de la
Consommation). These laws represent a 'nationalisation' of Article 13 of
the European Directive of 12 July 2002 on the safeguarding of privacy.
A 750¤ fine is defined for each unsolicited e-mail.

No one expects you to know the articles. You should, however, know that,
'I think it should be done through legislation' is a load of cack.

WTF are you talking about? Cab *is* French. Blaney's seen his ID card.

  4. Really ? So they've scrapped the 'knowledge of France' criterion for
    citizenship applications, then ...

s'true. Hence my vicious jibe at Cab the other day, where I called
    him French. The French ****.

  7. He hinted at his application a while back, so I'm not at all surprised if
it's true. That being said, however, I also pointed out at the time that
'nationality' is more than a piece of plastic.

Not that this will stop the fuckwits here from claiming that I based my
'Frenchness' on being naturalised. I didn't, and never have ... but that
    won't stop them.

  8. Exactly. Well if it is true, then congratulations. Now try to learn
something about the place, which will hopefully stop you dropping the huge
clangers on here, along the lines of 'EDF are civil service' ...

Cane, will you _please_ stop playing with this wanker? There's surely
no sport in it and most of us would prefer not to be reminded of his
    existence, TYVM.

You know the type of day, plenty to do but none of seems that
interesting. I'll have to knuckle down and get on with it soon or it
will jump up and bite me this afternoon.
