    you.

You're pretty close actually - (4) refers to newsreaders showing
duplicate articles which was caused by re-feeding them, and that it
would be too much work to correct this problem.

here is the announcement once more, in the hope that not too many folk ask
    me per email:
the news server crashed on the 29th Dewc at about 1715 hours and couldn't
be contacted in the 80 mins thereafter.
as well as the usual side-effects of an unplanned failure, several articles
    disappeared into a black hole.
We've cleaned up a bit and are re-sending these articles, over the course
fo the next few hours the body of articles should be complete once again.
One further unavoidable effect: some newsreaders will show articles twice.
Not pretty, but too time-consuming to rectify.

    Sorry for any unpleasantness

Christoph, currently in the shower as per orders.

Hope this is ok, no responsibility accepted for crap translation - you're
    getting what you paid for.

  11. So it chopped Des's posts off, but didn't re-post them twice? There is a
    God.

  12. Erm, which road? There?s no houses for sale on Calle Casas Nuevas. I
have a couple of houses in Aylesbury, but they?re in pretty exclusive areas.

Keep working. See you soon Rob.

I feel quite happy that I made a reasonable stab based on knowledge of
about 2 verbs, some bastardised anglo/germanic words and knowing the
meaning of stunden, schwarz and minuten!!

I really, really must devote some time to learning some German and
Italian to add to my French and Dutch (both rusty and underused).
