Harumph. A similar scene, witnessed by your faithful diarist, in a café on
the avenue de Clichy.. I'm sitting there drinking a coffee, reading the
paper and a woman who'd been sitting a few tables away from me gets up and
walks towards the door. Café proprieter calls her back as she hasn't paid,
but it seems they know each other, and a few seconds of good-natured
repartee ensues. The woman then assures the bloke that she wasn't about to
leave without paying, by laughingly saying, 'je ne suis pas juive!'

A good gewürztraminer can go well with spicy food, but is best with
very rich stuff, like Fois gras. I've tried it with chilli-based foods
and generally found it no quite up to the standards of a good
    full-bodies red, like a Rioja.
Be aware that Chilean gewürztraminer can be _totally_ different from
the stuff we get here. Drank some in a nice restaurant in Bariloche
(Argentina) and were warmed by the Patrone beforehand that it would be
different and by 'eck she wasw right. Quite nice, but really different
enough I'd not even have guessed the grape.

Rioja is a region. Tempranillo is one of the grapes used in the blend,
sometimes the only grape. Obviously, only tempranillos made within Rioja
will be labelled as such. There's no reason why a bottle labelled
tempranillo won't work as well, just that it may not be made within
    Rioja.

Hence why I said aromatic, stuff like 5 spice or Hosein sauce go well with
    gewürztraminer e.g Peking duck.

As you say, chilli based foods, European or Mexican stuff with tomatoes
especially, work with a red wine. This Maipo Valley cab sauv that's nearly
empty would do the job. Another one from the Conch y Toro stable.

As Wessie says, Tempranilla's the grape variety, and pretty much any
Spanish win using it will share many of the characteristics associated
    with Rioja reds.

Another good grape with spicy food is the Sangiovese, used in most
Tuscan wines. But more care must be taken than with tempranillas, as
not all of them are either big or good. We'll be staying a night at
Montalcino, near Siena, on our way to our sailing trip in Sardinia
next month, where they produce some splendid examples thereof. Trouble
is we'll be in the TT, so carrying capacity will be somewhat limited.
May have to get some delivered instead.

If you weren't so ignorant, you might know that it is a well known
phrase, not something I can claim any originality over
Like you, it doesn't know all the rules yet
    .... ... Irrelevant crap cut
There you go again with your self delusionary rambling, but then since I
have absolutely no interest at all in learning hebrew or understanding
the fairytales of the jewish faith, I would say that your statement
    above is self evident
No we're talking english and german here. If you can't understand,
that's your problem. Don't rush, you have five centuries

    You're rambling again

We only have your word that you claim to even be able to teach

it certainly looks like you have to keep moving on from one country to
the next - a moving target, eh?
They might if I did, but I don't, so they don't

Cute. We can take that as tacit recognition that you're talking rubbish,
    then...
'irrelevant' in this case being 'evidence that proves you're talking
    rubbish'.
We're actually talking language, as evinced by previous references to Latin
    and Greek.
Right. Which is why I got a mate and some teenagers to pose in a classroom
in Paris, with Hebrew-learning posters on the wall, all with the approval
of the school, and got one of my pupi^H^H^Hthose people to photograph me
walking around in that classroom .. just so I could persuade UKRM that I
    teach.

It all make sense now. Damn, I've been rumbled.
That's very good. You missed a vocation, there.

    { snip }

As a matter of interest, seeing how much trouble you're currently in, it's
a matter of time before a senior Clique member comes to your rescue and
posts something along the lines of 'do not feed the troll', or 'why answer
    _it_ [my emphasis]?'.

So my advice is: bow gracefully out of the thread now.
