I have most of his books, and have read all of them. Wonderful
historical writer. RIP indeed.

 

I'll have a pint tonight and toe a lesser breed up the hole in his
honour. It might even work as a line with the sportier kind of girl:

The News on the Isle of Man has been full of it, as he lived in Brddan.
Can't remember whether I ever read one of his books. Will have a look next
time I'm in the Library.

Which we are improving - New double bowl sink and water heater in kitchen,
new lighting to main hall, refurbishing the boys toilet and redecorating
everything.

Oh and we now have a traversing wall, so those staying during TT 2008, will
be able to do some nocturnal climbing as well as basketball.

When is it this year?

 

I have a very poor memory.
