Gearbox question (Triumph Speed Triple)

Dear all,

I had a wierd behaviour of my Triumph SPeed Triple's gearbox. The Triple
brand new ~500 miles driven (it is 2003 model).

After accelerating gently from stop light I am able to switch the gear
from 1 to 2. But after gear 2 it won't change to higher gears.
The gear change padel has also different feeling indicating there is no
more gear left in the box.
Not after I did go through all the gear in the next stop lights, when I
was moving very slowly forward.

The behaviour did re-occur after couple of miles driving, and it did
disappear with same manouver i.e. changing up and down while moving very
slowly forward and pulling the clutch.

I would appreciat any comments whether this kind of behaviour is
unnormal and would lead into a more serious problems with the gearbox.
