platypus () gurgled happily, sounding much like they
    were saying :
    Yes, SIR! <snaps to attention>

Experience of last September's TOGtour, Le Havre is the biz. I breakfasted
on the boat, landed at 7am local with the whole day and all of France before
    me.
Trophy! Yay! I've got a Trophy, you know.
Either is good - the TS has a very authentic, classic look, but the
beak-bike has more shock value. Absent insuperable mechanical problems, I
    intend to use the Z200.

I suppose I'd better get my arse in gear.
    Do it.

If I do take the Trophy, or "Snorky Bike" as Fiona calls it, I'll really
have to do something with the brakes. And maybe give the chassis parts a
service. Checking to see if its got an MOT might be an idea too.

Except I haven't really got any time ATM.

Brakes only slow you down. Like mine...

There's a nice cous-cous restaurat in Le Havre just off the ferry at Rue
du Dr Piasceki. There's also an Etap hotel just along the road from the
restaurant which has rooms from about 30 Euros with secure parking.

Then again, looking at the bikes I'm not convinced that secure parking's
    that important...

St Malo is even more useful. It's also a ****-sight more expensive as a
    crossing.
