Anybody know anything much about the Honda GB250?

It's just that, well, erm, <shuffles feet>, I seem to have bought one.

    Much cheapness.

At least, I hope it turns out to be much cheapness - it seems to be minus a
set of keys at the moment.

The most obvious problem is that it's stuck in gear, and the clutch won't
release. I'm assured that this isn't a big problem...

Hiho. No excuse not to get a bike licence now.

www.citroencarclub.org.uk/images/gb250.jpg - with apologies for the rather
terrible pic quality. For a camera, it makes very good phone calls.

Stonge () gurgled happily, sounding much like they
    were saying :
    Heh. Not far off.
Yes, well, that "smiling" bit is yet to be determined...

Well the GB500 was an XBR500 made to look like a50s British GP bike, so I'd
hazard a vague guess its related to the CB-RS and/or XL family of
    engines.....

But it is just a guess... Maybe I should look at the pic and see.

It's a different motor from what I remember, prolly not as good as the
    mighty world-conquering CeeBee250RSA engine :)

    saying :
It seems to be a twin-cam 4v "RFVC" head on it.

Different to the CB250RS engine, which is a 4 valve SOHC . I'll bet you
only have an electric start too?
