    Well you can bet that they won't work out which fines were unjustified and
    let the drivers know , but will rely on people learning of this and chasing
    it up themselves.

    that was exactly the policy the police took when they found that a camera
    on the M4 [1] had a trigger range that went outside the temporary 50mph
    limit netting £150k in bogus fines. Each individual has to contact them to
    recover their money/points/licence/loss of earnings. Cunts.

    Even though the "law" they purport to be enforcing has been identified
    as an illegal act? Well, they have given up attending burglaries in
    their county (anyone remember Tony Martin) so I suppose they have to
    find something to occupy eight hours of every working day.
