GasLec prices

Had an email today from the ever so nice people at British
Gas - purveyors of electricity to us.

We are currently on a fixed price deal which expires on
July 1st.

they are offering a renewal fixed price to 2013 - at a
premium on current tariffs of 25%

FFS!
It's gonna be a cold & dark winter comming up, I can see!

I wondered why, Uswitch & Gocompare/utility was so slow

 

Makes you wonder how the government calculate the rate of inflation when
essentials such as this are coming in at these figures.

 

"non ministerial department reporting directly to parliament", sounds
like "government" to me.
