I am always here. I just keep checkin then "Arise when I feel I am needed then
quietly desend back to my place of solitude when it is over"
Or you could just say I am a proffessional lurker who loves to ride

Sounds like something we might use in this campaign thingy that I am cookin'
up.. Anyway.. good to see you IceMan.. sure been nice the past few days
for hitting the road.. Mine has all been short little hops around the
metroplex.. but.. I have enjoyed it muchly.. They've pretty well discouraged
all of us to not invade the "stockyards" .. Trying to fence us into an
enclosure that is about 40 X 50 ft.. Can you imagine.. Normally there would
be about fifteen hundred motorcycles in that area on a saturday afternoon..
Last week, we saw about 25, if that many.. Ah well.. there is still
Stroker's and Wilhoites..It's about time for me to cloud up and rain on the
stockyards admin. and the Ft.Worth city council .. again... LOL.. Sure could
use your help, if you get a day or two... See ya', IceMan..

I have made two rides last week. I dont plan to winterize the bike so I am
going to ride it as much as possible. The first day I rode it was 35 degrees
in the morning and I had not planned on it being that chilly. I was ok at 30
MPH, about 45 MPH I was thinking there just doesnt seem to be very many bikes
out this morning, when I was doing 55 MPH I thought maybe I should have
brought along some gloves and maybe a thicker jacket, at 65 MPH I told myself
that if I could only pin my legs to the engine they would be able to identify
me by my toe prints or something, 70 MPH all I could think of was SWEET
MARY;MOTHER OF JESUS CHRIST OF NATHERATH nothing better get in my way I
couldnt move my hands off the throttle the only thing going for me at that
point was the drool would drop and hit the ground causing it to shatter and
taking out the headlights and windshield of the vehicles around me causing
them to veer off in all directions and preventing anyone from getting to
close. when I saw the road to my house I just leaned real far to the right and
slid across 2 lanes of traffic a jogging trail and 4 yards a 15 pink
flamingos. (which by the way make great air bags)
I mannaged to weave between the Giant Redwood Forest and a S.M.B.H.
(Slow Moving Blue Hair) taking out her trash. and came to a stop in the
driveway in front of the house. at this time I yelled for the wife to bring
the welding torch so I could get off the bike. Now I think I am going to
have Johnny Cheese change out the exhaust get the carbs rejetted, change the
Plugs, put a K&N filter in, have the oil changed, the Shaft fluid changed and
then have them repeatedly check the Air in the tires for the next 3 months...
at that time I think the bike will ready to hit the road again.
