Garmin South Africa Maps

    Anyone know where I can get Garmin maps for South Africa at a reasonable
    price?

    I'm only there for a week, and I can't justify the fifty quid + shipping
    from the USA that Garmin appear to want. Slightly out-of-date versions
    won't be too much of a worry.

    Probbly not quite what you want, but...
    I bought <cough> an <allegedly> up-to-date map of UK & Ireland, for a
    Tom-Tom Rider a couple of weeks ago.
    Apparently, the map also contains "the major roads of Europe" and I /
    think/ the file is good for Tom-Tom one as well..
    If its any good to you, you're welcome to a copy.

    I did, and I replied.

    I have a few CDs of Garmin maps, but all are European. I could have
    sworn I had worldwide coverage, but I don't.
