    For reasons yet unknown there is no fuse in the 12v car adapter for
    Anne's Garmin 300. Does anyone know the specification so I can get a
    replacement?

    Ta.

    Have a look at the power output on the mains charger?

    Onmy Garmin the mains adapter outputs 5v x 1A = 5W, so on a 12v car supply,
    a 0.5A fuse should do it.

    Unless I'm talking bollocks of course...

    My Garmin ZUmo book says 2Amp.
    Should be the same.

    Why not just use a map?

    <thinks>

    As you were.

    Thanks but just found a reference that states 1A but no physical
    dimensions. I don't suppose it says 20mm, 1 inch or 1.25 inch?
