Garage Door Openers ...

Hi, my block of flats have installed a new automatic garage door, and the
b*s*rds have removed the key access. I've got one remote, but need a second,
however the installers want £90 for a second one.

Any recommendations on getting something a bit more reasonably priced? I'm
not sure on the make and model of the garage door, it's got nothing written
on it.

If IR just get a cheapo learning jobbie.

I guess it's RF. No IR looking window on it, and I've not seen any
noticeable "target".

I'm guessing that the top one of these will do the trick. Personally I'm
gutted they got rid of the key access.

Yup, I guess knowing the actual make is vital, however as it's in a block of
flats - would rolling codes be very difficult to implement? i.e. with 25
controllers, how will the others know to roll their codes? [1]

have you taken the back off the current box? - if its got a load of
up/down switches in the back it it will be a fixed code
