Or not. I tried it for the first time today. Found a useful tank for my TTR on German ebay a few days ago. OK, so it got a bit more expensive than I hoped but still only half the price of a new one. And the bike really needs a decent tank, 10 litres (and at least one of them hiding in the right hand side) is just too little for this country. 120 km range before turning to reserve FFS! Petrol bottles in the rucksack just doesn't seem a good plan.
