    Ride Report
    Blood bank Southbank.

Disclaimer: This ride report was posted with the consent of the
people involved and should be taken in the context of the way it was
    intended , in humour

Well I woke this morning after very little sleep and headed my way
    into Southbank .
On arriving there safely , with no help from those yellow fare
chasing bastard taxi drivers and the normal sunday rubbernecking
dickheads on the road I mounted the footpath to see , No-One.
What happened to you big brave bikers , a excuse for a ride , a
little prick and a free feed , that would cost you a fortune anywhere
    else on a friday night.

Fortunately Dave (MIDNIGHT) and his partners Ronda (Pillion) turned
up , we sat down and enjoyed a cup of "nectar from god" , and
disappointedly headed our way to the blood bank expecting to see the
Bikes lined up on the footpath.
Zip , Nothing , not a cracker so we had a smoke and Tony (PEPITO)
arrived out of a little secluded lane way , he recons it was a car
park , but I know its a hang out for hookers :)
Still pulling his fly up and hoping off his bike , we chatted and
went in side as no one else was there .
We saw the BLOOD CHALLANGE BOARD on the wall and the MRA hasnt won
for years, and i mean Years .
We filled out the paperwork , hopped on the scales :
    Dave in the high 80's
    Me in the low 70's
Rhonda we wont disclose being a ladie
Tony clocked the poofter .(The scales that is)

we had 45 minutes until our appointment because Dave and Rhonda were
new donors and me being a regular donor (record shows last gave blood
686 weeks ago) and Tony who practically lives there decided to have
a quick ride for a little entertainment .
But Dave decided the entertainment should come from him and with
Rhonda on the back came down the driveway and dropped it .
Clutch lever , superfical scratchs to the fairing , scratched mirror,
but the main thing that Dave and Rhonda were unhurt and fine.
So our ride lasted 100metres , Daves ride 10 metres
We went back inside and were called in for our paperwork , I was
first , being a pox riden across rider who had viral menigitis 2
months ago so they dont want a bar of me for another month yet .
Dave , and Rhonda and Tony went through so I got the job of taking
    photo's .
I missed getting the photo of Tony siteing his own needle like a true
user , tourniquet in the teeth (Only joking) but I goulishly hung
around with camera at the ready waiting and hoping for someone to
stand up and do a complete full frontal nose dive and get it on film.
But nothing , not even the old geezers who rode there bicycles in did
    one .
with all said and done a cuppa afterwards , smoke and chat Dave and
Rhonda left for home to try and get some horizontal activity going to
replace the blood they had lost and Tony and I head to the MRA annual
general meeting to see some real blood letting .(by the way none)
On the way to the AGM I nearly got scittled by the bloody blood bank
car out the front of Spencers St station , They will do anything to
get your blood anyway they can .

next year we need to make a concerted effort to do it , ( back in
early Feb we were about 30 behind the scouts )Next time we will have
a ride first and finish there , so come on people lets get serious as
it may be your mate who needs it.

ps spell checker used on document and are open to writing
    constitutions also :)

    [snip end]
