So yeah, my copy arrived yesterday, I'm up to week 8 and it is
    very,very funny.
Full of bits you'll recognise if you've ever lived in Shropshire or
    gone biking in Holland.

His comments about Telford Town Park are hilarious. :)

The book is only available here -

    Anyone else read it?

  2. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember (Greta) saying
    something like:
"Greta from accounts who looked like an even older Charlie Dimmock"

Is that you? If the samples are anything to go by, I won't be bothering.

Naaa, I've never worked in accounts and I totally don't look like "an
even older Charlie Dimmock"!!! I'm only 19. :)

The book is really cool though.

    Who's Des?

So you are real. I thought you were an invention of the author
trying to sell more copies of his crappy book.

    Only 19! Photos please?
Can I buy you a cup of tea? How do you take it?

As for Des - he's the imaginary Frenchman with an imaginary girlfriend
and an imaginary R1. Search for genuine_froggie.

  11. A good question, and one many of us have often pondered. Some say he's
the chain-clanking undead ethereal remnant of a tragically lost *nix
    geek, others think he's just a ****.

In my defence I woke up at 5 today, and have been to Horsham, and Sunny-
Pixieville before returning home following a journey from hell up the
    M1.

it, you weren't there to go sightseeing.

Nope, work. (I have been witnessed wearing a suit today) However being
in the SRi it seemed wrong not to gas it through the twistiest bits of
Mickleham bends at a pace on the way home.
