fuel tank repair in brisbane

Discussion in 'Australian Motorcycles' started by Cameron Seeber, Oct 18, 2003.

  1. I have a fuel tank from a honda z50 that I want a few dings taken out of.
I know of one guy who is the "guy" that does them, but he aparently charges
$500 flat rate and it comes back perfect.
Im not really after this, as I have already arranged to get it powdercoated.
All I am after is someone to have a go at fixing the dings as best they can
    before I get it done.
Im not overly concerned with a perfect finish, as if I do I know I will
probably ding it myself straight after.
I will probably try a dent removal place on monday, but I think the metal
may be too thick for there dent machines.

    thanks
    Cam

See the middle aged bloke who operates as Dent Doctor in Monte street Slacks
Creek...... a genious... and only charges depending on success.

Someone let MikeH at loose on an internet
    connection and the result was:
yes one of them paintless dent removal people will do...all they do is push
the dent out from the inside using cunningly shaped rods, so you can reach
the dent in the first place, with rounded tips.
as usual results depend on skill and practise
