If your bike has a fuel gauge that shows Empty when there's still 1/2
a tank left, and it frustrates the crap out of you, then
    http://www.totallywiredcycles.com/shop/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=76
may be the answer. These guys are super-responsive, and will make up a
kit to suit pretty much any bike. (I'm sure anyone with a soldering
iron and some basic electrical/electronic knowledge could do it
    themselves).

Basically, it gives you an adjustment screw to "tune" your gauge.

That is, the needle will hit "E" when your tank hits reserve. This is
probably old hat to most of you, but I was relatively excited by it,
and thought that others may also find it useful.

Cost including postage to Melbourne is US$23. Shoot an e-mail to
tammy@_REMOVE_THIS_totallywiredcycles.com with a picture of the
connector that leaves your fuel sender, and a photo of the real-estate
under your seat, and she'll sort you out.

I was trying to seriously tell the group about something useful and
cheap that I found. Why don't you pull your fucking head in?

Rod, some spam is tolerated from regulars. Your input was (obviously) not
appreciated. So be a good lad and piss off.

So nothing has changed around here in the last few years...

    It's still a Knobs' club.

I'm sorry for not understanding the joke... me bad...

I'll dig back through all the old posts to familiarise myself with the
even in question, then re-read this thread.

I'm sure I'll see the funny side then... if you say so.

I'm out of practice. Since I stopped reading this group I've lost my ability
to flame the crap out of people...

    I guess it'll come back.
