The Ducati just failed its MOT on account of having some play in the
swingarm. That wouldn't be so bad but I wanted to sell it, hopefully
without spending any money on it. Fat chance.

Of of course, riding it made me fall in love with it again so I don't
want to sell it now, either.

Trailer it to Tony Brancato, get him to fit one of his longer clutch
actuation arms, check the engine and do the shims if necessary, plus
sort out the play in the swingarm, suddenly sounds like a good plan.

My wallet is already hiding in fear.

    Don't weaken!
Phosphor bronze bushes IIRC? easier with the right tools but not
    insurmountable

Bit late, I already feel weak. I guess I need to open a bottle of
    strengthener a bit later today.
I'd have to check. As mentioned above, I'd probably get a man in for
this job as I'll need to get the annual shim check done anyway, plus
it's looking like I'll keep the damn thing so I'll have the clutch
actuation sorted out at the same time.

I normally don't mind to fiddle with Italian technology but this engine
is too full of pingfuckits for me to even think about doing more than
    an oil change.
