Long time since I popped my head in here! Big O Owen has kept me up to date
    though.

Anyway time for my bike to go up for sale so I can have something a bit
    different

Silver ZX6R 636 carbed model on 02 plate,
Full Kawasaki approved service history up to recent 12k mile service.
Good rubber on rear (010), front will need doing in a thousand miles or so.
Excellent condition and always looked after.
Not sure if these are standard but it came with bike - Rear hugger and
    braided brake lines
Baglux tank protector, tank perfect underneath.
    Double bubble screen and original.
Datatool System 3 Alarm immob, and fitting certs
Kawaski Official Workshop Manual (direct from KMUK)

    Located in Hampshire/Berkshire borders.

    Can't think of anything else.

Looking for £4200. (or a Diesel Land Rover Discovery)

It is, too. I was only thinking of you yesterday.
    Blidy hell - cue me!
    Ah, perhaps not ;-)
    Definitely not. Never mind, eh?

The RF is still going strong, you'll no doubt be delighted to hear.

  4. how bizarre!

...oh.... Does anyone know if this a reasonable asking price?

Cool! (esp with removed untasteful pink bits!) What's her mileage now
    then?

A new toy? You're obviously still vastly overpaid! ;-)
And quite quick in the right hands as I recall from the last Botafot
    that I went on...

I'm still trying to picture you without hair... can't form the image
somehow... Don't you have some picky's posted somewhere? Do tell, I
    need a laugh... ;-)

well it's in good nick, cus I finished my kit car for the bad weather and
for the last what feels like ages I've had company pool car as have been
commuting 200 miles to our other site every day (hence why I've been a
    little quiet recently)

errr.. when I've sold the bike?

Talking of which, where's the prefered place to advertise these days? MCN,
    biketrader?

Nigh to 50K and still rattling on ...

Massively improved fuel consumption, following new plugs and change of
air filter: notwithstanding the increase in the price of fuel, it has
gone from 100 miles to a tenner's worth to 100 miles on seven
poundsworth of yer finest unleaded. Bargain ;-)

Given the sight what I had the misfortune to cast my eyes upon at the

Head hair is just over an inch long now, allegedly looks "normal" but
needs a trim (!) down to about a #2 which should tame the random
cowlick above the right ear, which is a new invention. My hair has
always done its own thing, as it were, but it has taken this attempt
at controlling it quite badly, in a way. The rest of it is currently
a #3 goatee and designer stubble elsewhere.

Good news. This means that it won't be long before we can look in your
general direction with actual physical pain then.

Mirrors are still a bad idea.

PS. You may have omitted an "out" up there - but it's your age, I
    suppose.

I've stuck it in MCN, if it doesn't go in 3 weeks then I'll punt it down the
local dealers.. My only fear is that people may be put off that it's just
    over 12k miles old

Well, the funds are going towards the discovery, not sure whether to get a
cheaper older one, or a slightly more newer one. It's going to be off
roadeed and my winter vehicle, so it's not stupidly important how brilliant
    it looks.

Still want a trail type bike, not sure what yet though. Maybe a harley
    MT350?

Bummer... that must be a drag... You must feel sapped by the time you
get home... If you and SO are up for it, come and get fed on the 10th
    of this month, 6pm onwards...
Best ask the group, I've no idea... But knowing how fastidious you are
about your bike, I'm sure it'll sell easily. Thought of a reoplacement
    yet?

Why? 12k isn't exactly high milage, the engine's only just
    bedded-in...
