Reminds me, I need to get that retro-fitted to mine.

 

The K1s had a warranty mod. Mine and Molly's had them done.

 

Yeah, unfortunately mine wasn't done during the warranty period and
Suzuki refused to do it for free out of warranty. I don't think it's
horrenously expensive though.

As far as I can tell mine has had it done too. I was told how to check
for it, something like hold it in 1st gear at 5K revs with clutch on
the biting point, then rev it sharply. If it lurches forward then the
clutch needs modding. If it just sits there then it's already been
done.

There's bugger all difference in the prices of K1s and K2s. Mine's a
2002 K1 and is worth more than a lot of 2002 K2s.

If I were you I'd leave intellgent discussion to those with a modicum
of intelligence i.e. not you.
