Well the time is right for me to sell-on my RD250A - I enjoyed tinkering with it and riding it until I got the Fazer... but now it just sits quietly in the corner with just the occasional polish! Before sticking it on ebay I thought I'd see if anyone here is interested.... Here are the details... 1975 Yamaha RD250A in Blue (registered February 1975) Not MOT'd (last MOT expired April 04) - just hasn't been ridden in last year..! 6 speed Powder-coated frame Paintwork professionally redone (before I bought it) Taxed to end of March 05 Excellent condition as the photos will testify New rear shocks New rotor New fork oil seals New steering head bearings Currently wearing 347cc top end (the 247cc pieces supplied incl pistons). All the lights, indicators, idiot lights etc work fine. Every (just a few teething troubles) problem I ever had with the bike can be found by googling in ukrmc As you can see from the photos, it is a real peach. Realistically I think it could achieve £1200 and for that it includes 2 spare silencers. Bike is located in Fleet, Hampshire (J4a of M3) Pictures of it (taken last year but exactly the same condition today) are at http://photos.yahoo.com/j_ovenden and click on the album RD250A. If you're interested, given it isn't in daily use and has no MOT at present (there is no reason why it shouldn't pass fine as it has only done perhaps 50 miles since the last MOT), a trailer would be the best way to collect it. -- jeremy ['75 RD250A ] | ['02 Fazer 600 in blue] _______________________________________ jeremy at hireserve dot com
