Genuine UK bike as far as I know, complete with lots of
    impossible-to-find parts[1], in rather good cosmetic condition - it's
been resprayed to a decent standard, the frame is stove enamelled.

Oh, and it's now even got the correct headlamp mounting so Lozzo can
    stop pointing this out :)

It does need a bit of work - the electrics need hooking up completely
(everything that's currently not on the bike including a new battery
comes with it so there should be no problem finishing that job) and
someone needs to sit down and find out why the fucker doesn't want to
fire, even though it's got (some) compression, fuel and a spark.

Sensible offers invited although I don't really want to disclose how
much it owes me. Quite a lot actually, but I doubt that you'll find a
much better XL250 anywhere in the UK.

I would like to finish the restoration but I do need the space for
another of my "WTF did he buy *that*" purchases.

    [1] Especially I bought up David Silver's stock of "I don't think we've
    got those".

I can vouch for the fact that the above is true. It is indeed a lovely
looking Motosport, and these are really, really collectable. One of the
nicest-looking Jap dirt bikes ever made, IMHO, along with the original
    XT500 and the DT175MX.

Timo dangled the bait under my nose as well......
