FS: Triumph 955 Sprint ST

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by The Older Gentleman, Apr 14, 2007.

  1. This 'as come my way, people, and is being outed.

199T, red, unmarked, 36k miles, fsh (with all bills and notification of
recall work done), some extra carbon bits, T&T until June, decent tyres,
    factory alarm two key sets....

A really, really nice ST. No dings, no scrapes, no scratches. It's going
on Fleabay with an SP of £2250 and no reserve.

£2500 to anyone here. SW London area.

Hrmpf. Take a VFR in part-ex?

Oh, and has it got uprated/replacement fuel line connectors?

    Luggage?

    Which seat?

Have you bought an RX-8 yet?

    What kind of decent tyres?

  3. From you? No offence, like, but from *YOU*?
Yes, and the paperwork to prove.
    No idea. It's comfy, though.

    Dunno. They're round and black.

Is this something that was corrected in later years - mine's an 01 -
what should I be looking for?

If it hasn't been and it's still a problem with later models, you'll
notice it when you've got the bike pissing petrol on your boots.

    Sure, they're indestructible, right?
    Jolly good.
    That's not good.
    They did two - the plain one gets not very comfy at around 100 miles;
if it looks like it's got a raised section about 1/2" in and more
padding there, it'll have the gel seat on which is a worthwhile change.
How do you know they're decent then?

And you seem to have skipped a question :).

  7. Well, decent as in "lots of tread". The bike's in the back of the garage
    right now.
