I've got a 1991 Honda CBR1000F project. She's an easy fixer and the
damage to the bike is cosmetic.

    (webserver is a little slow)

    Details:
    Austin, TX
    91 CBR1000F
    30k total miles
    Clear title
Well maintained until the end of 2004. Fluids flushed and oil changed
    in 2004.
    New tires.

    What's good:
Bike shines up great and is in good condition for a 91.
I've ridden it, it rides straight (hands off) and has a lot of power.
    Shifts fine.
    Linked braking system.
    Everything on the bike functions.
All the plastic is original OEM. I haven't found any evidence of a
    additional scarring or replacement parts.
K&N filter. I was told it was jetted, but it's got stock exaust and I
don't know what the stock jets were - so I can't confirm.

    What's wrong with it?
It took a low speed fall in 8/2004. Rider broke at least one bone and
retired from motorcycling. It's been sitting since.
Damage is the the upper fairing, fairing stay, and dented the tank.
    Side panels are intact.
Gauge case is damaged, gauges fine. I've ordered a replacement. The
bike didn't slide. Frame is straight. Bike has a beefy steel frame
    with built in sliders.
Clip-ons, bars, switches, subframe, all that is fine..

    What does it need?
    Upper fairing, fairing stay.
Chain has a little rust, but is well in service limits.
    New seat cover.
Tank holds gas, but has a dent.
Probably will need misc trim pieces.
It sat since october 2004. This honda has a vacuum actuated petcock,
so that saves the carbs somewhat.. It's hard to start when cold. Once
warmed up, it runs like a scaleded ape.
I assume it needs a carb cleaning and that some of the air passages /
idle passages are clogged. I'm going to go ahead and sync the carbs
and make sure it has no vacuum leaks. I've opened the carbs up and had
a look - they are all in good shape with no tearing, obvious crap in
the bowls, or jet obstructions. To make sure they are clean, they need
to be dipped. I've done the plugs.

Retail price for the above parts (service honda) is about $1500.
I've found a used parts dealer who has the right colorset of fairing,
tank, and fairing stay - he wants $625. This is my 5th motorcycle and
it's unlikely that I'll ride it enough to justify keeping it.. No
particular reason to keep it... So it's up for sale at $1250. My
garage is full and I'd like it gone.

If you were patient, I'd you could repair this with stuff off ebay for
about $250. I'm not going to be patient with this project and need the
garage space. Repaired, the lowest price I've seen online is about
$2900. I believe it would sell quickly at $2500.

The CBR1000F is known to be an excellent sport touring motorcycle.
That means that it's big, heavy (600 lbs), and still fairly fast even
today. It's not a good bike for a beginning rider, mainly because of
    the weight.

I have a truck and trailer, but will not deliver without cash in hand.

More photos later. I'm still tinkering with it and tuning it.
I'll consider trade +/- cash for something else I don't need. No
action and I'll probably list it without reserve on ebay. Types of
things that interest me? Home upgrade items, Toyota or Jeep 4wd parts,
    electronics, anything with a motor..
