FS: The ex molly ZXR750 L2 1995 £1200 Track and Road bike.

  1. I've decided its time to sell the ex Molly ZXR750 L2

It's as it was when I bought it. I've done about 4k on it in the time I've
owned it. It can be set up as either a track day bike or road bike. It has
a standard top fairing and seat unit with a race bottom fairing for road
use. It has race top fairing and tail piece for track use. The original
standard fairing has a crack in it and has not been repaired as yet.
It has a set of spare wheels with wets on them.

Ask Molly or Bear for an independent review.

I paid 1800 quid for it. I would like £1200 for it now. It does have
a full Akropovic exhaust and two sets of Supa Corsa tyres.

Mmm, if only I weren't so mindbendingly poor right now. My collarbone
aches at the thought of it.

  3. Still no takers then. Oh well it has spare wheels with wets as well.
Standard headlight and tail fairing as well as the original road versions.
A full akropovic system and Harris rear sets. Good value at £1200.

    I'm tempted.

How cramped is it, leg room wise, compared to a CBR600?

Also, how much of its life to your knowledge, has it spent on the track?

  5. The Harris rear sets are adjustable so you can move them up/down etc. I
moved them down from when Mr Gower had it. I find it quite comfortable.

Not a lot. Mr gower bought it to do some racing. I think I'ts done about
four race meetings IIRC. Plus some track days. He had a full service done
on it before i had it. I've done about 4k tops on it. Probably more like
3k to be truthful. It has two sets of Pirelli Super Corsa's. Crash bungs
and the original bottom fairing (one side is brocken). It has been
dyno jetted to match the pipe. About 118BHP. Not enough to worry about
high sides but enough to make it fly. The handling is superb. Very solid
and easy to turn. Some spares come with it. Levers etc.

Ah, you're taking the fun out of it: you want cold tyres on frosty white
lines, then pin it in 1st.

    ;)
