Hammo tends to offer fairly low prices, but he's being generous this time -
6 grand for a 10 year old bike is a weenie bit ridiculous.

  5. OK, maybe... I didn't do alot of research other than a quick peruse of the
    trading post...

Happy to entertain offers of course... Hammo if you're serious please give
me a buzz on the mobile and we can organise for you to take a look...

    thats about what its worth

maybe $5K tops if its super clean and tidy

    Futant got $6K for his 98 ZX6
although it did need tyres chain, sprocket and rego

but was super clean uncrashed example with less kays

    That's far more like it. I was reading, I saw '94 CBR600, 51000km and
    thought "Yep, about 4k"

Fucken oath it was clean, went like the clappers too. With a years rego and
a new rear tyre I wouldn't have settled for under about $7300.

  10. But mayyyte, that thing's worn out. Have you got the banana skins and
sawdust out of the gearbox yet?

I half heartedly had my R1100R advertised for 8K, others have similar
    advertised for 10K-12K, didn't get a call. I'd swap it for a good 660
Tenere or Suzuki DR650, but I probably won't chase it too much, I still like
the bike. Get some dirt tyres this winter perhaps.

Can't remember the neutral light not working?

  11. No, I offer what I would be prepared to pay.

If the bike is in good nick, owner can tell me what I want to know, show
receipts or the remainder of bits that were removed from it, then 4100 is
    pretty generous (bike unseen).

I'd want to know why the front braking system was rebuilt, condition of the
tyres, sprocket, oil used, coolant used, and frequency of changing, (as well
as brake fluid) when the aftermarket pipe was put on, why, rejetting?, what
jets, filter, other alterations made etc.

However, if the add/description doesn't compare with said bike, regardless
of age/price offered, I'm more than happy to walk away.

It was more the ball bearings I was worried about..... Oh, and the dealers
that reckon the odometer must be wrong....
Wanna buy a TT600, the 95 with all the flash Italian stuff on it?
Wasn't your doing. My brother had the headlight die and in his checking of
things pulled fuses and the like by the road side by match light. During
this episode, he managed to blow a fuse (or two) and then the neutral light
    failed to work.

BTW that sidestand has caught us both now (no, not just you and me....)!!
