FS: SR500 (Adelaide)

I bought this bike (1978 SR500 I believe it is the 'E' model) a couple
of years back for $1500, rode it for a few months and in my infinite
wisdom decided to strip it down for a complete rebuild - like that was
ever gonna happen! It lived in my bedroom for a year, in that time I
managed to get the frame powdercoated and a few months back managed to
occupy a generous friend's garage to put it all back together. The
bike is 100% complete and starts after a couple of kicks, however it
does need some TLC. They are getting hard to find and make an
excellent basis for a cafe racer. There is a dedicated bunch of
enthusiasts in the form of the SR500 club in Vic. who live and breathe
all things SR. This means parts are fairly easy to procure.

Price: $1100 firm
Bike is currently unregistered.
I am located in Adelaide's southern suburbs but can arrange for
shipment to anywhere in Australia at buyer's expense.

Everthing is sold FOB, smee. Buyer pays freight in every commercial
transaction (except perhaps when the seller is so overwhelmed with the deal
he has achieved that he decides the smile on the wood-duck's face is worth
paying a few extra dollars for.
