  1. For sale in West Yorkshire-

    Oxford luggage set.

I pair of Oxford Sports panniers. These are the expandable type with
pockets. The usual black, silver and blue, supported by three straps
over/under the the seat, plus the matching sports tank bag, which
splits off to become a rucksack.

These are as new having only been used for one short trip and are
complete with all of the bits plus instructions.

    Offers PM me please.

"Do not put the panniers on your head"

"The rucksack must be worn on your back"

"If you put all the straps over the seat and nut under, the luggage will
    be insecure"

    What does PM mean?

To business: what would be a reasonable offer; will they fit my Guzzi; do
they look, er, modern and are they more convenient than bungying army
surplus rucksacs to the pillion seat?

    I must be getting old.

If they're the panniers then they are a pretty good bit of kit.
Although I'd check ebay because they are surprisingly cheap new.

They fit (just) my VFR's rather wide backside.
From my own recollections of doing the above, most definately and much
more capacity as well as more convenient.

Two wedge shaped panniers with heat resistant bases, an all round zip
to allow them to expand to around double their capacity, and loads of
pockets. Three wide straps from each pannier to take the weight, which
cross under/over the seat joined at the middle by Velcro - then bungies
to hold the lower part still. Very well thought out and well made.

I bought them as a stop gap, until I could get some hard luggage sorted
    out - now sorted.
