The one I am selling is a 632, which is reputed by the jawaisti to be
be the best that they made. BTW, the model numbers do not run in sequence,
the 632 replaced the unreliable vibrating 638 which had a habit to shaking
    apart.

TOG owned one, once. In fairness to Lozzo, mine was reliable - the
engine is strong and there's eff-all to go wrong. The electrics are a
    bit primitive.

But they're just not nice to ride.

  3. Indeed. The only Commie bike to be taken seriously, in its day. Well
built and astonishingly competent. Bristling with evidence of thought,
    as well.
Ah. I'm selling one.... (Thought I'd sold it but the putative buyer said
the seat was too low for him. He was a lanky bugger, to be honest).

I had a 250 CZ. I loved the sheer agricultural simplicity of them but
couldn't really comment on how they were to ride: it was my first
road-going bike, so I had nothing to compare it to except, later, a
rat twin-shock Yamaha DT125 which wasn't any faster.

Brakes were appalling (on the CZ) and the centre stand was too narrow:
    that I do recall.

Christ, I'd be intrigued to see the worst.
