No need to show off, now.

at the weekend, in a hitherto unheard of feat of carpentry, I made a
60x60x120cm chest to put all my bike kit in out of an old bed.

You appear to be straying outside of the parameters of your
personality. Stop it, else you'll be re-coded.

I suspect he's been watching too much 'Norm' on Satellite... I wonder
if he's not grown the beard and Lumberjack shirt?

    I have got /a/ beard - it's not a proper DIY beard. And no, I don't
have a lumberjack shirt. And who's "Norm?".

Shame on you. Norm is the ultimate (self-confessed) power tool
junkie. Less DIY, more "I could _never_ make that!" but it is most
pleasant watching him do it ;-)

Norm trancends 'trash-TV' on so many levels. He is (as Pip says) the
God of power tool lovers everywhere... He's so much more than a trash TV
    presenter.

I'd love to see a Norm v Tommy Walsh DIY show.

Hammer drill and electric screwdriver. Barely used.

I had an electric screwdriver, but it was shit, so I threw it in the
bin. I've /never/ used the electric sander that lives in the
understair cupboard - In fact, I've no idea where it came from; it
    must be Angie's.

As my toolboxes were loaded into Pips car. I did my apprenticeship with
    that top box.

    Cheers Pip.
