Loz H waffled on in a quite bewildering manner to produce... Loz, if you buy an MZ, I'll go as far as giving you a lift to any corner of the country! (even the south) There's your excuse blown, now buy Swellers one. -- Pete M. Golf Gti (For Sale) Sierra 2.8i project (in progress) Liverpool, Great Britain. Big Tim wibbled incoherently My all-time favourite bike was a 1979 T regd RD400E with a full Terry Beckett proddy tune that I owned for about 2 years. It was clocked by it's previous owner at 128mph down the straight at Snetterton and handled beautifully on it's uprated forks and Koni shocks. It would easily power wheelie in 3rd gear, and if you tried hard enough you could hold a decent wheelie in 4th if you changed up at the right time. It was written off on the A1, when someone sideswiped me and I dislocated my hip. I never saw it again :-( . I wanted the engine out of it to fit into a blown up RD250E's chassis that I had kicking about my garage. -- Lozzo ZZR1100D, GPZ500S, CBCBCB750RSRSRS BOTAFOT#57/70a, BOTAFOF#57, two#49, MIB#22, TCP#7, BONY#9, ANORAK#9, DIAABTCOD#14, UKRMT5BB, IBW#013, MIRTTH#15a/16, BotToS#8, GP#2, SBS#10, SH#3, DFV#14, KoBV#3. And it's in Glasgow... Inoticed the headgasket leak, don't remember seeing many doing that... Oh bugger me, not another one. Pix please! JH
Spooky, mine's T regd, but as I've had it since new it's deffo mine. I had the "fast road" tune done, so it would be reliable (on the advice of Mr Beckett) and reliable it was. Wheelies, I wouldn't know. Even then I was the wrong build and my "natural" traffic light technique was more drag strip than stunt monkey. Although I lent it to a mate one time and he pronounced it as lethal. "Why Mick?" Seems that he had a moment at some lights when it started running on one (ht coil shorting) then half way through the lights No 2 returned with a vengence. Ahh, happy days...
It won't be eligible for Frankfurt, you know. You're not a ****, but we've got to have limits. Poor old Sean is taking a CG125 [0] ffs, and I'm on the wanky old Seedy. So look elsewhere for your mount. [0] MSOHP
I'd hope not. It's all very well allowing the odd ancient 250 ridden by a bloater, but you've got to draw the line somewhere...
