    I'm selling my ZZR600

    E1 model
    L plate (registered : 01-08-1993)
Colour : 'green' but think it's more commonly known as 'teal and black' (see
    photos)
MOT : none (but I'll get it MOT'ed as a condition of sale, excepting cost of
    tyres if they need replacing)
    TAX : none (currently SORN'ed)
    Mileage : 23,000 miles
    Datatagged
Bodywork condition : moderate cosmetic damage only
    (see photos : http://www.robdunsford.com/zzr600/ )
Tyre condition : poor - the bike has stood on side-stand for just over 12
    months.

Both previous two owners are best mates of mine and are relatively
inexperienced riders who didn't thrash the bike.
The latter had a low-speed spill avoiding a driver turning across his path.
He had the bike checked over professionally and the gearbox cover replaced
but the panels, mirror and bar-end all have scrapes and the odd small crack.
Would probably cost about £250 to sort these aesthetic/cosmetic issues.
(Click on the 'full-size' option for a full-size image which should reveal
the extent of any cosmetic damage)

I *would* have thrashed it but only got to ride it a couple of times before
    a job-change a year ago meant a) I didn't need to commute and b) I didn't
have any spare time or cash to ride. So the bike has been standing in my
garage for just over a year, unused.

I haven't tried starting it but will recharge the battery and do an oil,
    filter & plug change shortly.

The battery & exhaust front pipes were replaced in September 2002 as part of
major service (approx amount spent - £575 inc labour)
Brake lines, 'CAP-ASSY-PLUG'? and HT leads were replaced in October 2002.
(approx amount spent - £363 inc labour)
The post-spill work (to get the bike rideable, road legal and MOT-able) cost
    £166.00 in September 2003.

    Price : £1400.00 o.n.o.

    Location : Shrewsbury, Shropshire

email : sorby69 at gmail dot com

I'll start advertising it in the usual places shortly but thought ukrm would
    appreciate first dibs.
