FS: Kawasaki Z200

  1. Forgot to put this up here as well as ukrm.

OK, it's a nifty little Z200 in Heliotrope Orange (well, this was the
1970s.... and orange was considered a Kool Kolor then).

This is a 1981 model, about the last points-ignition one before they
went to CDI. It's been one of my summer projects.

It's in bloody good nick. Honest. The paintwork is incredibly good -
virtually unmarked and absolutely no dings and dents and scratches. All
the chrome is very good, too, including the all-important mudguards.
Frame paint has been touched in here and there.

I've overhauled the engine, got the electric starter working, got it
running really sweetly, and generally sorted it out. New parts include
brand new OE switchgear and ditto fork stanchions (yet to be fitted, but
hopefully next weekend). New battery, of course, and it's charging fine.

Seat has had a couple of cracks welded up and has been re-covered. Very
    nice.

It's wearing what looks like a stock can, but isn't. It's some pattern.
    Very fruity-sounding, as well. Nice.

Mileage is about 13,000 (I've actually swapped the clocks over for some
better ones from a donor bike, and originally it was showing about
12.5k. I must be the only person to "reverse-clock" a bike).

No tax, no MoT, no warranty. It could use new tyres: the ones on it
might or might not pass an MoT.

Lots of spares, including the original clocks, electrical items, a lever
or two, petrol tank, carb, brand new wiring loom (bought and never
    fitted), odds and sods - I bought a semi-dismantled complete Z200 as a
donor bike, and still have most of it. Some stuff I'll be Ebaying, but
    service items I'll throw in.

Price? Three hundred and twenty-five of your British pounds, to include
the spares and odds & sods, and absolutely no offers.

    Location SW London.
