    The garage clearout continues...

Honda CB750/4 K2, genuine UK model (low bars etc), blue, 37k miles
believed genuine, 4-into-4. Full MOT & 6 Months tax.

Has been subjected to fairly extensive cosmetic and partial electric
    refurbishment, namely:

    - Tank & sidepanels resprayed.
    - Front & rear mudguard replaced with freshly rechromed ones, the old
ones were only fit for scrap
    - rhs half of the exhaust has been replaced
    - handlebar switchgear (made out of unobtanium), coils and some other
electrics replaced as some lunkhead thought that cutting through all
the wiring would be a good way to hotwire it.
    - front brake rebuilt properly, with made-to-measure braided hoses.

Basically everything is present, and works. Bad points is that the
rims have some surface rust, the frame will need a respray eventually
and to make it concours the engine wants a respray, too.

Essentially it's a good user bike and would make a good starting point
for a proper restoration as I've done all the real expensive bits
    already.

    Bike located in North London.

Special UKRMC price GBP1600 ono. Cost me a lot more than that to get
    it up to this level...[1]

[1] They all do that, sir.

Bloody hell, that's a lot. I didn't think the 750s were that sought
after. You could get a pristine 400/4 for that, or two 550s â la TOG.

  3. Too much, Timo. too much. You've fallen into the "I've spent this much
so it's worth this much" trap.

Fairy 'snuff. What's a fair price then?

Oh, and I forgot - the above price was kinda based on a certain
buyer's guide a few years back. Prices for these falling?

Not atm, I'll try to take some on the weekend but given the fact that
I'm still clinging to silver-based photography it'll take a few days
to get those into a format suitable for transmission.

Why don't you just stick 'em on a web page?

Why? If Jeremy isn't interested then it'll go straight onto fleabay,
so putting up a webpage does take time I don't have atm and doesn't
    serve much of a purpose...

    BTW, *cough* documents *cough*?
