Just employ other people to do most of the work.

The problem with that is that your 'work' then becomes supervising
others. Often, this is less-rewarding than doing it yourself.

Sure is. I've actually been writing code this week, for the first
time in years. I'd forgotten what fun it can be.

Oh I dunno. Seeing their happy smiling faces change to absolute despair
when you hand them their pay packet minus stoppages coupled with the
knowledge that the taxman's cut is still in your bank earning interest
    can be very satisfying.

Don't agree. Keep it small. Employ good people. Incentivise them properly
and appropriately to self start and improvise. Install good proceedures.
Naturally Bytel is only a centimeter down a kilometer road in this respect,
    but it's new.

Why have you ended up writing code then?

LoL, I spent years doing that for UKAEA

My last bit of work was on the control systems for a Reactor near Kiev

  13. Want to change a parameter? Recompile the bugger.
    Quick, dirty programming. Love it.

Yep. And then you get to spend half a day writing a harness that
makes it easier to run your tests.

Is that counting all of the stock in the car?

I saw something t'other day which struck me as perfect for your particular
garden/garage situation. Used shipping containers for sale, a perfect end of
    garden garage extension!

Yes, but all the shite from the back seat is now in the house. I need to
    send some back as unneeded.
Ooh, I need one of those.

I'll be in the market for a new lid soon. Black Astro/j in medium,
    perchance?
