Oooh, want... Sadly, funds do not permit any new motorcycle in my
immediate future. I have, in fact, the prospect of not having a
    motorised two-wheeled conveyance at all.

Just sold a K3 minter for £4k, is there really that much difference in price
    in 1 year?

I was going to offer him £4k, cash. Whilst I might think it sensible and
you might think it sensible, Mike might not. I'll offer him £3k in
    January when it's snowing.

Sounds like you sold that very cheap - I got £3.5k trade in on a K2 GSX-R600
with 15k on it in March.

dwb emerged from their own little world to say
You bought a slow selling bike and they got a popular bike to sell in the
spring. The bike market has changed a lot in those 7 months.

This summer has been slower than many dealers expected. Used bike prices
have taken a huge tumble in the last few months. Even R-GS residuals are
much weaker than 6 months ago.
