Time to say goodbye to the winter hack, methinks. Something to do with an attempt to increase the garage vaccuum again... Anyway, here we go: H-Plate BMW K75S (the model to have), a mere 100k miles on the clock with full luggage, something like 9 months MOT left (can't be arsed to dig out the certificate at the moment) and tax until the end of July. Full luggage, although some of the clasps have been, erm, modified. As has the braking system - the previous owner removed the whole ABS system as both the ABS ECU and one of the pumps had given up the ghost. One careful owner, and at least nine careless ones. And it's purple. *Matt* purple in those areas where the previous owner resprayed the fairing. Tyres are decent, engine sounds and feels good, gearbox has a slight rattle from the idler gear which I believe is normal for high-milers. Occasionally "misfires" in second gear on acceleration. I've sorted out the "they all do that sir" seized radiator fan, changed engine oil, air & oil filter. With the bike you'll get a set of plugs and a fuel filter 'cos I couldn't be arsed to replace that one yet. It's got me to London and back with a minimum of fuss. Fuel requires topping up every 200 miles and that was pretty much it. Oh, and it'll also want a clutch cable as the adjuster is broken off at the lever. Looking for around 650 quid, which is slightly less than what it owes and a hell of a lot less than you'd normally have to cough up for a running, MOT'd and taxed 75S. *Especially* for one with luggage.
