FS - Beta TR34 250

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by Brownz \(Mobile\), Dec 26, 2007.

  1. New bits bought inc, clutch plates, air filter, sump plug, sump guard bolts.

    Work started but not completed.

    Dismantled and cleaned, but unrestored.

Runs like a treat, and has been ridden by Beav, but since fitting new clutch
I haven't got around to filling it with oil and firing it up.

Buyer collects from Grove, Oxon (OX12).

  3. Aye, lights n stuff work.
It has a CT5 (Car Tax) Doc - "Motor Vehicles Manufactured or Converted in
the UK" doc with the matching frame number.
And the original bill of sale from 4/6/87 £2175.00, plus some other
paperwork for bits and pieces over the years.

  8. Ahhh.... inspiration was all I needed. Ta Nige.

    Cleaned, adjusted, lubricated and re-assembled.

Started 1st kick with a little choke.

Pushed it out of the garage, warmed it up a bit, tentitavley pulled in the
clutch, dropped the revs, gave the gear lever an exploratory prod, and
    clunk 1st - woot !

A couple of runs up and down the road, sweet as a nut.

  9. Wotcha.
    Hmm - I'm so tempted.
I really miss my old Beamish Suzuki - plus I've still got my bike trailer.
Oxfordish - ain't too far away.

<<goes to see if stuff can be moved in the garage>>

I do hope someone else buys is - otherwise I can see me acquiring a trials
    bike again.

  10. New thread started about 5 mins ago - up there above somewhere.

Note - video added to pictures on photobucket from today.

I do like the smell and sound of a premix two stroke first thing in the
    morning.

I see you buy your Tortilla Chips by the big box.

Like the greasy mitt, at 8 seconds - very authentic.
