This is no less than I'd expect from you. Nothing constructive, next I
guess I'll hear from your dad....

Like it says, OR BEST OFFER! You have to start somewhere, if you have a
legit offer make it otherwise your comments are unnecessary.

  3. but, the HD salesman said it was an investment!

electronics system and new rubber isolated motor for $8300 list. a 2003
is a paint shaker with the solid mount motor.

new 883 sporsters range from $7,695-9,235 msrp list. you can find
sporties at discount if you just shop around too, plenty of stock to
    choose from.

<chuckle> What'd you want to hear from me about ? I don't recall ever
having any dealings with you, motorcycle or otherwise.. <grin> Besides.. I
don't have any interest in making you famous.. $2750.00 for the motorcycle,
though.. You did say OBO, right ? Good luck..

Your right Bill, that was uncalled for, I actually enjoy reading most of
your ride reports, unfortunately posts like that are too few and the
flames go on forever. I just hate price police. Anyone looking to buy
should know what something is worth and I just see too many people
hijack posts just to inflate their own ego or start a flame war. I'm
sorry I took the bait..:-( I posted this for my son-in-law, I told him
that was too high but that's where he wanted to start. Personally
although I like Harleys I think they are all over priced. Myself, I
ride a Goldwing and think they are one of the best bikes out there. I
commute daily and take summer trips with my wife, the last was up Pikes
Peak in Colo Springs. But everyone has their favorites and I put no one
down that rides anything on two wheels, I like all bikes.

Again, sorry for the uncalled for flame,

    John

Sorry, I usually just lurk. Not a lot to respond to since most posts
are drawn out personal flames or political diatribes that seem to have
no end. My apologies to Bill for dragging him in for no reason, price
police know it all's just frustrate me. Something is only worth what
the market will bear and you have to start somewhere, therefore the
reason for the OBO. I see overpriced items for sale every day, if it's
something I'm interested in I make an offer, if it's not I move on.

    I'll just stick to riding..
